Marguerite L. McGarvey, MD, joined Rheumatic Disease Associates, Ltd, in July 2007 as a Rheumatologist. She was born and raised in Doylestown, PA. Dr. McGarvey graduated from Villanova University with honors and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She also is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and Thomas Jefferson Medical College.
Dr. McGarvey completed an Internal Medicine residency at Abington Memorial Hospital and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Her Rheumatology training was completed at Drexel University College of Medicine. This training program is partnered with Abington Memorial Hospital. She has received part of her training and has worked closely with our rheumatologists for a number of years. She has experience in rheumatology research and has presented at the American College of Rheumatology.
